Job Details
As the leading manufacturer within the categories that they supply, our client is an innovative and dynamic food business that operates within branded and private label food manufacturing. They offer tailor made solutions to many Grocery accounts as well as some foodservice.
We are now looking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager to join this progressive team and focus on adding growth to their largest Grocery account. You will be an experienced SNAM with an entrepreneurial flair who is a passionate foodie.
The Role:
- Creating and implementing Joint Business Plans with your account.
- Full P & L responsibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your buyers within the account.
- Regular face to face meetings with the buyers.
- Able to identify new opportunities for both new product innovation and mutually beneficial growth.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and new emerging trends.
- Strong cross-functional working relationships with the Category, Marketing and the NPD teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience of managing either Top 4 Grocery account or a larger Discounter account within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.
- Educated to degree level or the equivalent.
- An experienced negotiator.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- An ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data and make recommendations.
- A can – do attitude and outlook.
