The Role
To manage and control the day-to-day route planning and scheduling to meet the department’s objectives and continuously improve performance against set targets.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Day to day route planning and scheduling – achieve set KPI targets
  • Provide reports to meet deadlines
  • Customer service
  • Compliance with Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation
  • Ensure vehicle utilization within budgetary targets to achieve set service levels
  • Driver/Telesales/Sales liaison
  • Ensure scheduling compliance with current vehicle and Tachograph legislation

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Previous experience of planning routes for a large fleet
  • Good overall IT skills
  • Customer focused
  • Supervisory experience
  • Full understanding of current commercial vehicle legislation.
