Title: National Account Manager -  Private Label – Waitrose

Location: West London

Salary: £45k plus package – car or allowance, pension, healthcare.

This is a category leading business with exclusive relationships across major UK grocery retailers, Discounters, Convenience, Independents and Foodservice channels through demonstrating ‘best in class’ standards.

This NAM position is perfect if you’re looking to progress your career quickly. It’s more than realistic to be looking at a Senior NAM position within 12 months and a Controller role in 2-3 years. The company thrives on giving internal employees the chance to move up and take on more responsibility.

Role:

  • National Account Manager.
  • Managing Waitrose – Possibly another Grocery retailer dependant on candidate experience.
  • Customer facing every week.
  • Must have P&L and JBP responsibility.
  • Communicating effectively internally and externally.
  • Maintain and increase profit margins.
  • Office based 5 days a week.​

Experience Required:

  • Currently a NAM within a respected food manufacturer.
  • Ideally Grocery Mults experience – will see people with customer experience outside Major Mults.
  • Will look at P&L accountable NAE’s or Junior NAM’s with ambition.
  • MUST have P&L responsibility or exposure.
  • MUST be working for a food manufacturer.
  • Upward curve – Demonstrated career progression.
