Major account management with a global food ingredients business managing key accounts across EMEA.

This is a genuine European Key Account Manager opportunity for a market-leading food ingredients business with a fantastic reputation for quality and service. The business provides a range of products to global food manufacturing businesses with bakery, snack, dairy and beverages. It is well-known for providing a "solution" to support technical aspects of customer requirements. As the Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a small number of large accounts across the EMEA region reporting directly in to the global team.

Key requirements for this role of Key Account Manager are;-
  • Degree educated, or equivalent, preferably in a scientific or economic discipline
  • Extensive track record of sales and key account management
  • Working experience of food ingredients sector
  • Experience of working across EMEA or European regions
  • Language skills would be a distinctive advantage - in particular French and German


You will be a highly driven sales individual with a passion for managing key customer relationships. You must be a strategic thinker with the ability to create innovative and compelling business solutions. You will be decisive with leadership qualities in order to influence internal stakeholders and you will be at ease working within a matrix structure.

This role will be home based, near an international airport, ideally within UK or Germany, however other western European cities will be considered. Due to the nature of the accounts there will be extensive travel, approximately 60% of your time.
