Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Analyst to join my client a household name in the consumer market on a full time permanent basis. The purpose of the Procurement Analyst will be to develop, manage and maintain Procurement systems & data and to provide accurate analysis and reporting of data from a range of sources to the Procurement team and wider business, including spend data, monthly KPIs and compliance reporting.
They will also be responsible for business support for a number of spend categories and will act as the initial contact point for Procurement related business queries.
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Develop, maintain & analyse key Procurement data including vendor spend ensuring outputs are quality checked and providing insight
- Compile regular reports, including procurement monthly KPIs, and provide relevant data to the Procurement team
- Manage the set-up of new suppliers and maintain SAP master data for existing suppliers
- Maintain the contract management system and compliance / reporting
- Act as Procurement support for some Indirect spend categories including Travel & Accommodation, Company Cars, and Couriers
- Investigate and facilitate resolution of supplier payment or invoice queries in a timely manner
- Manage the Procurement email account and deal with all queries
The ideal candidate will have the following
- Previous experience of SAP, Microsoft office, workflow and survey applications
- Have excellent analytical skills with an intermediate level of Excel
- Be pro active and have the ability to resolve issues across multiple business functions
- Have good attention to detail
- Stakeholder management experience
- Has previous experience in an FMCG environment
- A Level calibre candidate
