Commercial Manager, Midlands - competitive salary + package


Your new company
Working for a leading Midlands Airport facility. The commercial department is responsible for the day to day sales spanning across retail, food and beverage outlets, car parking and additional revenue streams. This highly successful operation services high passenger numbers throughout the customer journey, while maintain their position as an industry leader.

Your new role
As Commercial Manager, you will be working directly for the Head of Commercial in strategic planning the growth and overall success of the airport. You will be responsible for maximising performance of existing partners and negotiating and establishing new partners to increase passenger revenue. You will need to be confident in negotiating, strategic planning with the ability to lead effectively, with both internal and external partners. Customer service standards are vital to the success of the entire operation, and the ideal candidate will be able develop and input standardising processes to access feedback and data which can then be used to improve the overall customer experience.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be confident in increasing sales revenue, developing and inputting strategies to increase customer satisfaction, revenue and the smooth running of the daily operations. This is a great opportunity for a confident sales professional with a solid operational background, to make this role their own. The role requires an experienced and self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic attitude, who can support and project manage the planning and delivery of new commercial developments. The ideal candidate will be a hands on manager who can create a strong internal presence; you will be required to manage and influence all elements of the commercial business. All candidates that wish to be considered will need a full 5 year checkable work history and criminal record check for airside clearance approval.
