Market Strategy & Planning Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client at their UK Head Office for a Senior Marketing professional.

The successful candidate will be looking for their next career move to bring their expertise and experience to a fast moving sector, where my client is looking for double digit growth and an individual who can play a key role to help deliver these ambitions.


Role Responsibilities


*Work with Senior Management to develop the Marketing Strategy to achieve annual business objectives
*Lead on channel strategies for implementation and develop all promotional plans with sales teams
*Take ownership for the development, execution and performance of all loyalty schemes
*Drive brand awareness and presence into the market with all customers
*Excellent relationship building skills to work with agencies, customers, internally and with Group HQ
*Work closely with Senior Management team to ensure Marketing strategy is aligned with Sales Team activities via regular reviews
*Build rapport with sales teams and customers to interface and drive through initiatives to deliver business objectives
*Preparation and development of external sales presentations and material for effective deployment of initiatives
*Review competitor trends and information, evaluate and feedback findings
*Deliver creative solutions to grow the brands presence in the market and measuring ROI



Candidate Specification

*Marketing experience working for brand leaders within their sector
*Expansive understanding of working with all types of sales channels and possibly spent time in sales role
*A strong team player in a fast paced team, adaptable to changing demands and conditions
*Capability to lead and create sales initiatives building credibility across the business
*High levels of energy and drive to achieve challenging project goals in tight timescales
*High aptitude to manage multiple projects and ability to organise and plan with continual follow up for closure
*Bring new skills and upscale talent within the Marketing team
*Relationship building skills at all levels
*Capacity to supervise and lead a busy team and ability to run the department in the absence of Senior Management
*Highly ambitious with strong leadership capability to develop their career with a global brand
