Job Details

At Arla, we do so much more than make some of the world's favourite dairy products. We make healthy taste delicious, mornings worth getting up for and family dinners unforgettable. Arla Cravendale®, Arla skyr, Anchor®, Lurpak® and Castello® - names like these make us a vital, natural part of modern life in over 100 countries around the world. We are 4,000 UK and 19,000 global employees at the heart of it. Every single one of us plays an important role and together we build on our 10bn Euros turnover and establish our position as one of the largest dairy companies in the world.

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Executive to join our Sales team at our head office in Leeds to work on our Discounters account. Within this role you will work alongside the Business Managers and the Business Controller to develop accounts. You will also provide administrative support for the Business Managers which will include but not be limited to code concessions, late deliveries and samples, etc.

The Discounters BU has an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to drive the ongoing development and growth of one of our leading trading partners. The UK Discounters are enjoying substantial growth in the UK grocery market and continue to offer their supply partners access to this growth opportunity when they can tailor their offer to work in this environment.

Arla Foods are expecting substantial growth with the UK's leading Discounter and a significant growth contributor to V2020. Key targets to deliver the overall company growth sit within this sector. Fantastic progress has already been made to deliver this and we are confident of a great future.

This role provides the right candidate an opportunity to demonstrate their skill set with a winning retail partner in 2017 and beyond, working closely with the rest of the Discounter team and learning from a behaviour and approach that is regarded as best-in-class within Dairy. Customer growth in this sector is expected to continue over the next 5 years with both Aldi and Lidl forecasted to double their store portfolio in that time (2015-2021) giving them a potential grocery share by 2020 of ~16%. Responsibilities

Responsibilities in this role will include day to day support for the business unit including the management of all invoices to ensure debt is kept to a minimum, sales reporting, management and communication of supply along with providing a second point of contact for customers when required. Working with the Business Managers and the Business Controller, you will support the development of ad-hoc projects to deliver profitable volume growth within the Discounters channel.

Skills

To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level and have significant administrative or sales experience within a Sales or Marketing arena. Good communication skills are essential for this position along with the ability to work well with others as part of a team.

In return you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package and the opportunity to work for a forward thinking, progressive organisation that recognises and rewards talent.
