A growing PLC specialising in hygiene products, for professional and public sectors, is seeking a Technical professional to support its UK wide Commercial sales team as a technical expert on its products and capabilities. In this role you will be working with a diverse portfolio of products with a highly reputable technology at the heart of its range. This is a diverse role and you will work with customers including the NHS, Food Manufacturers, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare companies and private institutions. This Technical Sales Executive is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Microbiologist who would love to utilise their skills in a front-facing role.

Please note this role will be based out of offices in Cheshire, however it will involve regular travel, UK wide to customers, so it is essential you are happy to travel and / be away from home when required.

Technical Sales Executive responsibilities:

• Support the UK Sales team as a technical expert providing technical and microbiological advice to add value to the sales process
• Complete field trials with products and clients and present on data
• Review and advise on Hygiene processes
• Inspect sites and make recommendations
• Provide account management to customers on site and over the phone and email on Hygiene and Micro issues
• Manage all technical enquiries into the business and progress leads to the sales team
• Attend industry conferences and trade shows and present as a Technical specialist
• Support the Marketing team with any technical market information on competitors, gap analysis and new product development

This is a really exciting role, and quite a unique opportunity within its field. A great chance for a Microbiologist, Hygiene specialist, Technical professional ideally with expertise in Healthcare or Food manufacturing, who is keen to break into a Technical Sales Executive role.
