Role
To ensure that transactions for our suppliers are processed with diligence and accuracy to ensure that suppliers are paid as close as possible to the agreed payment date, and any queries are effectively resolved in a timely manner. This will lead to continuation of supply for your Operational colleagues, thus ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
To ensure that you work in a diligent manner, with excellent communication skills, and maintaining very good business relationships with your peers, colleagues, suppliers and any other third parties.
 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • To process transactions that are assigned to you, ensuring that the correct suppliers account is used, the transaction is posted accurately and processed no later than 2 days from date of receipt.
  • To raise debit notes, or resolve transaction queries, ensuring that the correct suppliers account is used, the transaction is posted accurately and the supplier is informed of the query immediately.
  • To assist suppliers and colleagues where necessary in a professional manner at all times to resolve their queries, whilst ensuring that you balance the needs of the supplier and the Brakes group globally, and your department.
  • To assist the account handlers where necessary to achieve the teams KPI’s.
  • To carry out any other ad hoc tasks that you are asked to do, in a friendly, co-operative and professional manner.

Knowledge, Skills & Experirence

  • Competent use of Excel spreadsheets, preferably, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent professional telephone manner
  • Good command of literacy.
  • Must be able to communicate positively in a team environment.
