Job Title:

National Account Manager - M&S (Own Brand)

Office based role (West London)

The role

National Account Manager fully P&L responsible for M&S. The role will work closely with marketing & innovation to create best in class own label product for the customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Understand the customer strategies and objectives, developing commercial growth plans.
  • Review pricing and profitability structure on existing contracts, implementing price increases on time and in full where required
  • Work closely with the Development, Technical, Factory and Finance teams to launch profitable, incremental NPD with the customer and to drive new business opportunities where appropriate
  • Liaise with the Technical Manager on technical challenges, updates and opportunities
  • Coordinate regular presentation of category data and insights to Retailers

The person

The following skills & experience are required for this role:
  • Commercial National Account Management or Retail Buying with own label experience.
  • Management of a profit & loss
  • Ability to influence & manage senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, as well as supply chain forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills
