Job Details
Our client is a £30 million fast-growing, fine food importer and distributor supplying a broad range of products from around the world to independent customers, major multiples and department stores, as well as to the wholesale and foodservice trades. Their range includes ethnic foods, condiments/sauces, canned goods, biscuits & cookies, as well as baking and confectionery and outstanding Christmas products.
It’s a fast paced business that looks to work very closely with all their customers, with their mix of products you will have multiple buyer contacts within the account base so being a well organised and adaptable individual will be vital within the role. As National Account Executive you will manage their Department Store Channel including Harrods, Selfridges & JLP plus additional hamper companies and Wholefoods (a great development account).
Due to the complexity and seasonality of the customer base the role demands a logical, well planned and well organised individual. Someone with a great mind for project management who can "spin lots of plates" and keep everyone involved and aware of timescales, NPD and customer/supplier demands.
Office based in West London initially – there will be some flexibility after proving your skills and abilities as well as integrating into the business and developing strong internal relationships with the various stakeholders. They need a driven, motivated individual who isn’t afraid to challenge both internally and externally. You will have had either direct account responsibility within Department Stores as a NAM or NAE, or have supported a NAM within the same channels, not necessarily in food but be looking to develop your own career further.
