Paul Nyman Consultancy are working with a major food group to support the development of their commercial team with a senior appointment on the Tesco account.

The Role

This role will take on full strategic responsibility for Tesco. Responsibilities will include P&L management of your chosen account base; management of trade spend and delivery of key business initiatives including NPD, in store executions of marketing initiatives and managing senior level relationships within Tesco. You will be working with Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, Credit Control, Category & Insights, and all relevant contacts in Tesco so you must have a natural ability to network and operate cross functionally.

Experience and prior training are always important but just as crucial will be your attitude, passion, values, desire and willingness to be consistently pushed to progress at pace. These values will be showcased through your loyalty and commitment in previous roles. You will have longevity on your CV and have clearly shown an ability to progress internally rather than ‘jump ship’ externally to get what you are looking for.

You will form part of a group of valued people and therefore will have the potential to develop in Marketing, Sales or International to a Controller Level and beyond with further development.
