Category Executive

Our client is a recognised and growing UK based branded manufacturer, looking to expand their commercial team with an experienced Category Analyst. The role is office based from their site in Manchester and they are looking for candidates with Category Analyst and Data experience to join their growing team. If you’re looking for an opportunity with career progression, then this is the role for you. Candidates must come from an FMCG background.

The Role:

To manage the day to day category data responsibilities, including regular reporting and updates with the client team on category and market performance, competitor activity and industry news. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    To be the main contact for all category data
•    Manage 3rd party data providers regular reporting on category performance
•    Analysis of distribution to ensure maximum sales potential
•    Analysis of the company product performance
•    Monitoring competitor activity including external travel
•    Assist Commercial team to develop the business

Candidate Requirements:

•    Must have experience within a category data role within FMCG in order to be successful. 
•    Degree level candidate preferred.
•    Must have strong analytical abilities.
•    Must be a confident communicator with the ability to present findings. 

The Package:

•    Up to £30,000 salary
