Job Details

It supplies some of the world’s leading companies in retail, out of home and industrial markets and owns successful retail and out of home brands.

Role:

A senior commercial management role, leading and developing the strategic Total Coffee Solution relationship within the Customer Head Office UK & Ireland, as well as the supply of coffee tonnage across five Eastern European territories through a dedicated and motivated team, whom deliver business financials and a first class service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage and grow market share of two large and complex National Accounts though proactive management of strategic client relationships by reviewing P&L’s to advise and build: coffee, machine and service delivery sales through development of product and equipment technology.
  • Coach, lead and motivate the team to ensure the Company's strategic goals and brand standards are met in a timely and cost effective manner which provides optimum service, quality and added-value.
  • Develop and seek new senior level relationships within Customer Head Office and within client groups driving the contact strategy agenda and actively growing external networks through relationships, insight and data.
  • Continually review all processes, systems and methods of business development within this sector and make recommendations for increased efficiency and maximization of the use of resources.
  • Work with the Sales Director to deliver compelling Franchisee Business Plans on coffee and direct machine sales across a 1000+ Franchised Restaurant portfolio that delivers for UCC and the Customer.
  • Develop and seek new senior level relationships within Customer Head Office and within client groups driving the contact strategy agenda and actively growing external networks through relationships, insight and data.
  • Work closely with UCC operational, technical and marketing teams demonstrating a freshness of approach by questioning of existing practices and suggesting value adding branded concepts to unlock serious growth in this sector.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven background in large and complex Food & Drink National Account Management
  • Charismatic leader with an effective interpersonal skills, who sets a clear vision and deliverables
  • Possesses strong commercial and analytic skills, who interrogates data to draw effective solutions
  • Demonstrates strong sales growth record through a broad set of business development skills
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of commodity buying and quality management
  • Flexible ability to influence and present at Board level across different cultures and levels
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and within a dynamic and (geographically) dispersed team
  • Enthusiastic role model, with an observable ‘Can Do’ determination to achieve stretching goals.
