Financial / Office Manager - GENUINE PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES INTO DIRECTORSHIP!

In the heart of the UK lies a technical flexible packaging supplier that supply packaging for many household names within Europe. With a streamline reporting structure the company is recruiting a Financial Controller / Manager to work alongside the current Financial Director over the next three years and ultimately take over their position within the business.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a recognised accountancy qualification with at least five years' experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Have advanced Excel skills, numeracy and written skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have experience of using SAGE 200 or 50 to an advanced level
  • Produce financial information in line with the requirements of the accounting policies
  • Take direction from the current Financial Director on specific tasks on an adhoc basis
  • Conduct P&L and cost analysis reviews
  • Understand tax structures, advise on potential optimisation
  • Quarterly VAT returns, monthly PAYE/NI returns
  • Bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Buying currency
  • Liaise with HMRC on other tax matters

 


You will have good man-management skills and be able to lead a team of six. You will also have experience of working in a busy office environment and working to tight deadlines within a fast-moving and growing business.
