The Role
As the successful National Account Executive you will have full responsibility for a number of accounts across Impulse and  Convenience including promotional plans, listing and distribution of NPD, securing shelf space in line with market share and/or category objectives. You will be involved and responsible for developing and implementing a clear defined channel strategy for your account base. You will also be expected to pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with the National Account Manager and the Business Unit Controller to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.

The successful National Account Executive will:

  • Current experience in one of the following roles:  National Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Customer Development Executive, Customer Business Executive, Business Development Manager Regional Account Manager etc
  • Current experience of exposure to buyer level – either as an existing National Account Executive or a Key or Regional Account Manager.
  • Have current experience of sales in a branded FMCG business managing Impulse/Convenience accounts
  • An ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong business relationships at different levels
  • Be able to manage and meet and exceed your customers expectations
  • A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent

 

In return you will receive a salary up to £35,000 plus bonus and company car.

This role is a home based opportunity however requires access to their office in the East Midlands.
