Due to the stability and super performance of this large FMCG business, this is a rare opportunity for a dynamic high performer to join a leader who is at the forefront of the UK retail industry across multi channels. With many leading brands within the portfolio, you will join a business that will encourage personal development and match your own career ambitions.

Reporting in to the Channel Controller, you will drive clinical execution at the point of purchase for sales drivers – range, space, price, promo activity, feature and display.  The role will also require high-input to meet the monthly demand process ensuring an accurate, timely and robust volume and P&L forecast whilst working as part of a multi-functional internal team including Brand, Market Strategy and Category. Your dynamic personality will help develop relationships with all key customer contacts including buyers, supply teams, marketing teams and online teams in a robust environment.

The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-

  • Big branded FMCG experience working in a NAM or NAE role with P&L management
  • Discounter channel experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong selling and negotiation experience and displays exceptional communication skills
  • Can demonstrate ability to deliver results in challenging environments
  • Is able to interpret and create business arguments from relevant data sources such as Nielsen data
  • Desirable is brand, commercial strategy or category management experience
  • Must have access to the Head Office based in the North West
  • Degree qualified
