Job Details
This is an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager with experience working with the major multiples. The role will be to develop a three year vision for the company and have a real impact on the company’s growth within the bakery category. My client is a leading UK food manufacturing business with a global reach.
The role:
- Develop a 2-3 year vision and roadmap of specific action for the category (Bakery)
- Create strategies and plans which utilise marketing to respond to category performance
- Follow the retailer’s(s’) cycle(s) of the category marketing process to ensure that all plans have been correctly assessed, approved and implemented
- Input into NPD process (from insight to NPD) from identifying opportunities through to developing shopper
The Candidate:
- Experience working with the major retailers in a category role
- FMCG experience, preferably in bakery
- Category management and strategy experience
- Graduate calibre
