LOGISTICS CONTROLLER

Position: Logistics Controller

Location: South East

Salary: £Competitive + Bonus + 9% employer pension contribution + life insurance

A global company dealing in cosmeceutical, vitamin, supplement and health products, which has a presence in the UK and boasts 30% growth YOY, is seeking an experienced Logistics Controller. Clients include large retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Amazon Worldwide.  Turnover has increased YOY and is expected to double to £50m in the next three years.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will have ultimate responsibility of the warehouse, supply chain, purchasing and regulatory functions, which includes liaising between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments.  Managing the 12-month rolling sales target and ensuring that the NPD projects are delivered on time are integral part of the role.  Plus, our client is wanting to secure BRC accreditation for Supply Chain so this will be focus for the successful candidate.

In addition, you will be responsible for the development of the team with 8 direct reports but also with the opportunity to build a new team below you.

You will have experience in working with some of the big name retailers and will understand their processes.  Working within an FMCG or pharmaceutical background is essential as is having experience in managing multiple projects. The ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment is essential whilst working to multiple deadlines.
