Our client is one of the world’s top 30 Food businesses, with a turnover in excess of €10 billion. Its UK business has grown five-fold since 2003, and has established a strong branded and private-label business with all the major UK Multiple Retailers, Independents, Wholesalers and Out-of-Home customers.

Following a strategic re-structure, they are currently looking to recruit a Customer Marketing Manager to support the sales, marketing & category teams with product management support, profitability analysis & process, working closely across all functions including finance, NPD & supply chain.

Your main objectives will include:

  • Supporting the Commercial Division with product management support, profitability analysis & process
  • Working with Marketing in the development of new promotional mechanics & ranging objectives
  • Analysing and reporting on promotional activities and providing feedback on their profitability & enhanced sales impact, both within the business to the Marketing and Sales teams, and in presentations to multiple customers
  • Formatting and analysing market numbers, customer sales & profitability, interpreting the findings in order to provide commercial & financial rationale for new listings, promotions and NPD

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with highly developed numerical analysis skills & advanced excel skills. You will be energetic, resourceful and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate, influence and build relationships at all levels within the business and also with our customers.

This role would suit someone with strong commercial ability coupled with excellent analytical & process skills.  Previous experience within the FMCG market, ideally with multiple retailers is essential. Candidates with backgrounds in National Accounts, Category Management & Commercial Finance would be considered.
