My client is looking for a Territory Sales Manager covering the area of Scotland. The company are a market leader within the sports industry, manufacturing products to the highest possible standard.

The role is to target independent retailers across Scotland, along with Schools, Universities and Local Teams. You will need to grow and develop the existing account base working towards set monthly targets. Reporting to the Head of UK Sales, this position is responsible for driving direct sales for a leading Sports brand. The primary focus is to grow your account base with new accounts and distribution channels, whilst maintaining existing relationships with current accounts.

My client is specifically looking for someone with a strong sales background ideally from within the same product category where you are dealing with independent sports retailers, schools, universities and grass root teams. You could be an Area / Territory Sales Manager or Brand Manager from within the industry looking to join a growing, innovative business with some great products. This person must be reliable, trustworthy with lots of drive and enthusiasm to be successful.

Main Duties:

  • To manage an existing customer base, varying from Independent Stores, Schools, Universities and Local Teams.
  • Develop the territory by identifying and targeting prospects through cold calling, internet searches, and face to face meetings.
  • To sell promotions to new and existing customers as directed by the sales manager
  • Achieve specific annual sales targets as set by the sales manager.
  • To produce weekly call reports for the sales manager as requested.
  • Develop strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Ensure our products are merchandised in the correct way inside the Stores (if applicable).
