Are you an experienced Customer and Market Insight Manager with broad research experience across qualitative, quantitative and continuous research within an FMCG environment? Are you looking to further your career within a progressive and growing food manufacturing business? Do you enjoy delivering high quality actionable insights that you can see making a difference?

My client is a well-recognised, branded food manufacturing business who is looking to build a team across CMI to place the consumer at the heart of what they do. This is a strategic role that will work cross functionally across Marketing, NPD, Category, Shopper Marketing and Finance and will directly influence the strategic direction of the business.  This means that there are real opportunities for career progression and personal development.

The Role:

  • Use consumer and market understanding and insight to develop the brand and portfolio strategy in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • Assist in the development of business growth plans by gaining an in-depth understanding of the consumer and marketplace.
  • Management of the day to day research projects across both qual and quant research in order to deliver actionable insight.
  • Responsible for working with the continuous research agencies to develop market and brand understanding.
  • Working with the research agencies to develop efficient and effective research plans.
  • Develop a broad perspective of the UK research industry to discover new research practices.
  • Work closely with marketing and innovation to develop effective innovation plans.

The Individual:

  • Broad research experience ideally client side rather than agency.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • A demonstrable understanding of brand management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to present.
  • A strategic thinker
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • A good influencer and a strong team player.
