Transport Coordinator

A specialist food importer and distributor are seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their Logistics team, covering international haulage and collections.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining communication with distribution partners, in order to plan outbound deliveries to UK based customers. This will require you to manage Excel spreadsheets of product and customer information, tracking invoice clearances against deliveries.

On a monthly basis, you can expect to produce reports for internal stakeholders, detailing the cost and spend figures for the company's logistics activity.

Problem solving and conflict resolution will be a key feature of the role, as you develop good commercial supply chain skills.

To Interview

You will have previous experience in a Transport Planning or Coordination roles, preferably in an international business (importer, exporter).

Professionals with previous exposure to the FMCG industry will be preferred, and European language skills will be looked on favourably.
