What is this role…
This is an exciting role with huge potential to grow and develop your career.
You will become the telesales marketing guru, developing & managing the implementation of projects and ensuring the successful activation of marketing campaigns in telesales. You will work closely with the Contact centre managers to ensure successful delivery and in this role winning hearts and minds will be key.
You will manage the Win the Wallet telesales campaign each week and be instrumental in activating our 2017 TSO academy plans.
In addition to this you will plan, manage and deliver Product Knowledge Days (PKDs) at our contact centres in Glasgow, Tamworth, Ashford and Deeside.
PKDs consist of food tasting sessions, sales training sessions, awards and competitions. To do this you will have a high level of autonomy as you will be project managing cross functional teams consisting of learning and development, Contact Centre Managers, Telesales Team Leaders, Depot logistics, Venue Managers and Kitchen Staff.
A recent development has meant we have a much higher capability for reporting performance and as such a large part of this role is daily communications with telesales, ensuring that the daily league table is sent on time and accurate - this will require a keen eye for detail.

This role requires someone who is concise and consistent to ensure all communication to telesales is accurate and follows the correct procedures.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement telesales initiatives from inception through to launch
  • Engage with telesales and look for opportunities to drive growth and excitement on site
  • Develop L&D platforms with telesales to increase their selling skills
  • Own all communication into telesales of campaigns & initiatives
  • Own the day to day implementation & administration of the telesales incentives & activity – daily league table, feedback, problem solving & incentives
  • Be the ‘face of telesales’ working closely with the sites
  • Run the weekly performance update conference call with contact centre managers
  • Organise and deliver the sales knowledge days ensuring they are informative and educational
  • Develop the schedule, presentation and theme
  • Booking the venues
  • Organising sales collateral, prizes & raising POs
  • Own the volume forecasting for all campaigns with Supply Chain
  • Support campaign proposition testing
  • Support the Campaigns Analyst on promotional & campaign reporting
  • Own specific telesales marketing campaigns i.e. outbounding, supplier activity, flash sales
  • Develop all collateral, emails, flyers etc

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Essential:

  • Experience of working with sales teams
  • High levels of resilience (re-worded this slightly)
  • Customer centric view
  • A pragmatic approach to the performance of tasks
  • Excellent personal planning and organisation to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel / Powerpoint/Outlook)
