Head of Sales/ National Account Controller/ Business Unit Controller

Based in the Midlands, the company specialise across a number of categories and have demonstrated significant growth for a number of years outperforming competitors and securing long term business. The business is hugely progressive and offers strong progression paths and actively encourage career development.
As Head of Sales you will be responsible for a close knit team and measured on hitting budget, profit and volume working across the Grocery MULTs. At the helm of the team, you will be responsible for medium to long term business planning and delivering short term business planning through your team. This is a hugely pacey role and requires an individual who is capable of managing a significant portfolio of business, and able to operate across the whole supply chain pulling each key pillar together to enable the business to move forward at the pace required to continue the growth of the already strong relationships!
Successful candidates will already be operating in a Top 4 Sales Leadership position or at the stage of your career where you are looking to make a step up and can demonstrate previous people mentorship.
You will hold the following experience/ skills:
- Strong commercial experience within an FMCG environment in operating across the Top 4 Grocery MULTs
- Sales management and leadership
- Operating as a strong mentor able to demonstrate collaboration, empathy and team building/ Ready for the next step in career
- Proven ability delivering YOY profitable growth
- Strategic in approach
- Experience in developing and implementing short to medium term JBPs as well as medium to long term business planning
- Working collaboratively, joining up various areas of the supply chain
- Progressive background
- Marketing awareness / Customer Insight appreciation
