This newly created position will be at the forefront of growth within the northern European food market, specifically the Nordics. The business is going through structural change with a new 5yr plan in place and continues to drive revenue growth through the UK channels and is now looking to develop further afield within the Nordics region, an area they already have decent levels of business in through existing distribution.

The role will be charged with the responsibility of devising the route to market plan within the Nordics region and execute this through developing existing and creating new distribution channels and relationships. You will also negotiate and agree JBPs with all distribution partners within the regions where you will visit on a regular basis ensuring all KPIs and milestones are met. The role will interface with internal UK teams such as Commercial, Finance, NPD, Supply Chain and Marketing so you will need excellent team player skills and the ability to influence from a remote working dynamic.

The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-

  • Significant experience of working in an International/European commercial role for a branded food organisation
  • Managed International distribution partners and channels with the ability to influence remotely
  • Must have a winning mentality with the skill-set to forge and develop remote relationships
  • High levels of commerciality and experience of devising and executing JBPs
  • Track record and evidence of growing accounts and International markets
  • Must be flexible with European travel on a regular basis
  • Must live in the Northern UK regions
  • Degree educated
