Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting for an instantly recognisable food business with a reputation for taking people on a journey to recruit a high-capability, high potential Senior National Account Manager to join their Bestway team at their site within Greater London.

The Business 

A global food business with a reputation for taking people on a journey are looking for an experienced, high-capability, Senior National Account Manager to join their Bestway account. Establishing themselves as a leading player in their category, this business manufactures a range of branded & private label products to the UK retail sector. Holding strong presence in both areas of the category – our client is seeking an individual capable of fitting seamlessly into its established & ever expanding commercial team.

The Role  

As a result of acquiring new business within the channel our client now seeks an experienced Senior National Account Manager capable of taking control of their Bestway/Todays accounts within the Wholesale channel. Managing a predominantly branded portfolio within these accounts, you will be operating in a fast paced environment which offers a high degree of variation and will challenge your commercial skillset. The role will typically require you to be in our clients West, Greater London office 3 days a week.

The Individual

You will be managing a significant P&L, as such this is very much a position for someone who can demonstrate a strong background of FMCG account management in either brand or own-label. Given the size of the prize this is likely to be at least your 2nd role at National Account Management level. Experience within the Bestway account would be significantly beneficial however you may be looking to step up onto a bigger account or indeed looking to transition into a bigger business. Our client has a fundamental approach to recruitment of only employing individuals who they can see having the capability of operating 2 levels higher (Controller in this case) so will need to be career minded and looking at operating at progressing your career over the next 3-5 years. Accessibility to our clients’ offices in Greater London 3 days per week is important for the long term development in this role.
