Job Details

I am looking for an experienced and ambitious Marketing Manager who is ready to take the step up to Marketing Controller to drive the foodservice marketing agenda within this large branded food manufacturing business.  This is an exciting, challenging and high profile role that forms part of the senior leadership team within the food service division which includes both the cost and profit sectors.

About the role:

  • Create, develop and lead the food service marketing strategy.
  • Using all elements of the marketing mix, you will take ownership for the brand strategies and performance to drive growth.
  • Use consumer insights to identify current trends.
  • Work cross functionally with the category and commercial teams to assist in the growth plans.
  • Manage and develop brand identity to create a lasting impression among customers, improve sales and market share.
  • Responsible for the development of new products for the market.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An experienced full mix Marketing individual with a background in food manufacturing or B2B or B2C.
  • Food service experience would be ideal.
  • Educated to degree level or the equivalent with a relevant marketing qualification.
  • Experience of creating and implementing brand strategies.
  • Highly commercial and able to identify and action potential opportunities.
  • Excellent team working skills and a strong relationship builder.  
  • Well-honed presentation skills.
