Job Details

Why Would You Want To Work Here? Our client is an entrepreneurial, fast-moving food company with an incredible story to tell. Despite the business having being formed only a handful of years ago, its products are already in the majority of the major multiples, as well as a wide variety of speciality food stores. With a passionate team in place, where you'll be guaranteed a friendly welcome, great support, but real autonomy as well, this is a place where your responsibilities will naturally expand as the company continues to prosper. What Are We Looking For? This is a broad role, but essentially, we are looking for a graduate who has gained at least 18 months' experience in an analytical role, ideally in the FMCG sector or a similar industry. You must have a huge attention to detail, be very strong in a number of IT applications, including Excel, and be comfortable in communicating with a broad variety of people. Some commercial acumen is required, and you'll naturally be very good with numbers. So If I've Got That, How Will I Use It? There are a number of facets to this position, but key to its success is the extraction and interpretation of sales data. You'll put this data into charts and graphs to showcase trends that are crucial for the wider business to understand, including seasonal peaks and geographical sales patterns. You'll look into the effects of product promotions, again displaying this data in a clear form. Working with the internal accounts system, you'll keep all promotional pricing up to date to enable the supply chain team to keep stock levels correct. In addition, you'll ensure that the EDI is up to date, setting up new customers on the system and liaising with both the internal and the customer's supply chain teams to ensure total confidence in the system pre-launch. What Now? If this has got your name written all over it, apply now. There's not many jobs that can combine this type of role with the start-up, entrepreneurial culture that our client provides, and we expect that the competition will be fierce! Someone is going to be going into 2017 with a big smile on their face, knowing that they'll be rocking up to this office every day and playing a big part in helping to shape the future of this already very successful business. Whilst we would like to respond to all our on-line applicants, regrettably we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive. If you've not heard from us within two weeks, unfortunately on this occasion your application has been unsuccessful.
