We are looking for a Category Insight Marketing Manager to work in a new and exciting role helping develop and execute category and marketing strategy for the burgeoning Sunmagic Juices brand as well as the extensive own-brand business - helping drive new initiatives and managing general B2B marketing projects. 

*The role* 

You will be an FMCG Brand/Product/Category Marketing Manager or maybe a talented Marketing Executive looking for a step up in their career.  You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of products with huge growth potential.  We have a very entrepreneurial culture and you will have lots of opportunity to initiate and lead marketing projects for existing and new products and brands.

It’s a fantastic time to join us – you’ll be a key part in our ambitious growth strategy.  Our relaxed but hard working culture and a lack of bureaucracy means you'll have the opportunity to really make a mark.  With a category focus, you will work on NPD launches using shopper insights to make recommendations and identify new opportunities within the market. Working across trade and consumer - from data analysis, category trends and shopper insight, you will play a central role in the annual planning process with responsibilities in product and brand management to help drive business growth.

As the main point of contact for all internal and inter-company, corporate and brand communications, you will be working on many aspects of the business: developing ads and promotional activity; sales presentations; keeping abreast of market trends and sharing insights internally; working collaboratively with the NPD department and the Commercial team to deliver both own label and branded sales strategies, and to communicate marketing objectives to the wider business.

*About You*

The role is based at the company’s offices in Headcorn, Kent with a requirement for regular visits to our offices in South Wales, Halstead and Camberwell.

Of graduate calibre, you can demonstrate a minimum of c.4 years marketing experience ideally in drinks FMCG but other verticals, such as grocery, will be considered.  Key is a real interest in the UK fresh drinks and juice.   You will have proven expertise in using Nielsen and/or IRI along with other sources of data and insight. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a category focussed role management with good data analysis skills and comfortable with conducting range reviews, making recommendations and new product launches. You will also have experience managing all key elements of the marketing mix.  As well as a natural entrepreneur, you will have well-developed planning, project management and multi-tasking skills, combined with a ‘can do’ attitude and the tenacity to work in a lively but often hectic environment. 

You will be an organised self-starter with the confidence and tenacity to sell your ideas internally.

This is a great role with loads of potential if you already have some solid FMCG category marketing experience, but want to take on more ownership within an entrepreneurial environment and really make your mark at an exciting time for the company.
