A vacancy has arisen within the Credit Management Department at Ashford; we are seeking suitable candidates to join our successful team. Reporting to the Line Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
The Role
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Setting up and maintaining customer rebates on both SAP and Concerto within the team SLA.
    Effective & professional handling of internal and external customer queries.
  • Analysis and interpretation of complex datasets using Excel.
  • Liaising with the Sales Force.
  • Meeting deadlines for financial accounting periods.
  • Accurate reconciliation of accruals/provisions.
  • Prompt turnaround of payments to customers within the SLA agreed.
  • Maintaining own portfolio of accounts.
  • Audit requirements and authorisation levels are met.
  • Clear down of Customer Rebates.
  • Ensuring Rebate payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Ad-hoc rebate and administration work as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • Preferably degree educated or equivalent (or A Level standard with some experience)

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Takes ownership for own performance and identifies areas for improvement and development
  • Is able to communicate with a variety of staff at all levels
  • Can adapt to new systems and procedures
  • Reliable, affable, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible “Can do “ attitude

    Desirable:
  • Good knowledge of SAP
