Head of Marketing – CaféPod

We are 'the next big thing'.

We're not there yet, but we've quadrupled our distribution in the last 18 months and we need an expert to own and drive our brand towards becoming a household name.

We are CaféPod and back in 2012 our founders spotted a gap in the market for Nespresso Compatible coffee pods and went for it. To this day the team here at CaféPod continue to take on the big boys (Nestle, Starbucks and Jacobs Douwe Egberts) every day.

Coffee is our passion and we're the leading challenger brand in the UK coffee market with listings in all of the top 5 grocers with plans for much, much more.

We're a team of results-driven 'do-er's. Our business size has doubled every year and we cannot see this slow. Fortunately, our biggest ever multi-million pound marketing budget will be at your disposal from January 2017.



The Role…

The Head of Marketing role is an opportunity for you to truly own all aspects of the Marketing mix and help build CaféPod into a household name.

You already know what a great Head of Marketing needs to do. You'll blend effective data acquisition and analysis, roll your own sleeves up, not just brief another agency and frankly, have an attitude of treating every pound like it's your own.



What we need…

We're looking for someone who has strong FMCG marketing experience but it's your passion for brand building and start-ups that really floats your boat. Key requirements are:

• Consumer goods marketing experience within an SME / start-up business environment
• Proven track record for delivering activities on time, to budget and with demonstrable results
• Thorough understanding of the UK grocery market
• Budget management. "Return on Investment" will need to be your mantra
• Agency management
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Valid EU Passport & full driving license
• People management experience would also be beneficial as would an appreciation for Good Strong Coffee!
