The Role:

A National Account Manager / Business Manager is required by a leading manufacturer of garden products to successfully manage and develop the Homebase account.

This fantastic opportunity will involve creating and implementing a strategic growth plan for your product category, conducting range reviews, developing promotional opportunities, working closely with the buyers to build strong relationships and ensuring excellent customer service levels, managing in store inventory and account margin, liaising with supply chain to ensure product lifecycle is accurate, being fully aware of competitor activity and market trends, providing accurate forecasting and achieving the overall growth and margin required.

Successful applicants will need recent experience in selling consumer durables at National Account level to a major UK retailer.

Essential Requirements:

• Recent National Account experience selling consumer durables into a leading UK retailer.
• Product management experience would be advantageous.
• Commercially astute.
• Proven ability to implement and drive strategic growth plans within major retail accounts.
• Strong relationship builder.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Analytical.

Package:

Basic Salary:  £45k-£55k dependent on experience

Bonus:          £51k-£63k OTE
