Demand Planner

Demand Planner – 3 month FTC, Surrey

The Supply Chain division of Exsurgo is recruiting a Demand Planner for a Food company based in Surrey. This is initially for a fixed term contract of 3 months, however, this could be extended for the right candidate.

The role
The Demand Planner position will require someone to create and maintain demand forecasts. You will build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers to deliver improved forecast and service level. On a day to day basis, you will be monitoring daily sales and adjust customer forecasts as necessary to ensure supply. You will be working closely with the supply planning team to ensure all planners are informed of any significant change in demand in a timely fashion.

The candidate
The successful candidate will have previous demand planning experience and will be able to take the role on and hit the ground running, ideally someone who can work without guidance and who can work with a level of autonomy. You will be degree educated and will be responsible for junior members of the team. You will have knowledge of forecasting system and advanced excel skills would be advantageous.
