A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with one of the UK’s leading beer and cider manufacturers. With some of the country’s most iconic brands in their portfolio they have a real presence across both the On and Off Trade, strengthened by an exciting range of premium products. After a strong year in the Off Trade they now require a Senior National Account Manager to take the lead on their Co-Op account and Discounters channel.

As Senior National Account Manager you will hold full P&L responsibility for Co-Op and the Discounters channel at head office level. You will be tasked with implementing the sales strategy and objectives for your account portfolio and will achieve this through the use of effective joint business planning and customer engagement at all levels. There will also be responsibility for the management and development of a National Account Manager who will support you in achieving sales and profit targets for your customer base.

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that you have experience managing Grocery accounts at head office level. Additional experience with accounts in the Discounter channel will also be advantageous. Candidates with an understanding and knowledge of the beer and cider market will be preferred but those with branded FMCG experience across the appropriate customer base will also be considered. The business has a very hands-on culture so it is important that you are comfortable working cross-functionally both as part of a small team and autonomously. Though there will be man management responsibility in this position it is not essential that you have prior experience with this.
