Senior Category Manager | North West | Man Management and Strategic Input

Catman Jobs are currently recruiting a Senior Category Manager on behalf of our client in the North West. 

The Business

This UK food business has created a niche position within its market though innovation, development and acquisitions to create an offering that the customer now actively seek to list on their shelves. Whilst the consumers value their current offering there is still much to be developed and grow across their market that will meet ever higher demands from a highly discerning consumer.

The Role

To support this development and that of the longer term structure of the business, they now seek to appoint a Senior Category Manager with the potential to develop their career over the next four years.

The Individual 

You will have an eclectic mix of category and commercial understanding which will allow you to interface at the highest level through developing and driving the category strategy while at the same time nurturing and developing two junior category team members to eventually takeover your role when you progress within business.

The Opportunity

This recruitment will be integral to the business' focus upon recruiting core high potential individuals that are able to develop within the business. You will be as happy operating within a strong team as you are developing wider strategic direction across an organisation at all levels.
