Paul Nyman Consultancy are recruiting an enthusiastic and analytical individual to join a large and growing British company in an analytical role supporting their sales team.

The Business 

Our client is a premium player in their category and is looking for an analytical mind to take what will likely be their 2nd career step in to a role which will give you multi-functional exposure. Operating in a billion-pound industry, with a portfolio of branded and own-label products, they are a company that pride themselves on an extremely close working relationship with their customers. With a sizeable customer base, the business has a significant presence within the UK FMCG market.

The Role

Working with the Senior Account Manager, the role of commercial analyst provides critical support in the form of analysis and recommendations across category management, national accounts and supply chain thus maximizing sales potential and improving productivity. Effective implementation of these recommendations involves both external (customer) interaction and internal liaison and persuasion. Provision of detailed and accurate information together with ensuring the business’ adherence to critical date paths are vital.

The Individual

You will be an analytical individual with meticulous attention to detail. An excellent working knowledge of Windows with special emphasis on Excel is essential to succeed in this role. You will also be an effective communicator and will be diligent and adaptable. Prior experience in the Food/FMCG industry in an analytical role would be ideal.

The Opportunity 

Successful individuals who demonstrate their capabilities in this role will find themselves on the first step of the ladder towards becoming an FMCG Account Manager or Category Manager. Due to the structure and open-team mentality of the company, the only limits to success will be the ones you place on yourself.
