Job Summary

  • Our client is one of the highest growth consumer technology businesses globally
  • They are looking for a creative Senior PR Manager to help drive the continued growth of their handset and laptop business

Description

  • The PR manager will manage all PR activity in the UK - planning and implementing PR strategy, designing and executing PR events, planning comprehensive PR campaigns, managing press relations and measuring and evaluating PR activity.
  • You will be responsible for the management of the entire UK Comms budget
  • The successful PR Manager will be creative, self-motivated and will have extensive PR experience, ideally within either a telecoms or consumer computing background
  • Experience within consumer technology is essential. You must have a strong network of existing contacts within the industry and be capable of hitting the ground running in the role.

Key Qualifications and Competencies

  • Extensive experience in a consumer technology environment, operating in communications or PR at a senior level
  • Must have consumer technology or telecoms experience
  • Proven ability to drive and own a PR function
  • Entrepreneurial with a desire to deliver results
  • Experience in identifying trends, reporting results, drawing relevant conclusions and recommending action to management
  • Diplomacy, countenance and the ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm.
  • Must be a strong project manager who is proactive, highly organized, excellent at multi-tasking, comfortable under pressure
  • Able to work effectively as a team member and across multiple teams
