National Account Development Manager – FMCG
Basic Salary £60,000 - £65,000 depending upon experience, Competitive Bonus Structure OTE: £90,000 + Corporate Benefit Package

The Role:
  • You will be responsible for negotiating strategic partnerships for in store retail concepts within the UK Grocery Channel
  • This strategic objective is in it’s infancy, so the emphasis is on winning new partnerships as well as developing and expanding on existing agreements
  • Responsible for the delivery of annual budgeted KPI’s on Sales, Contribution, Margin / yield and channel sales of £75million, our new Senior Business Development Manager will also have direct accountability for  National Account Managers
  • Reporting directly to the Head of UK Sales the role will involve identifying new opportunities within existing or new partners across the FMCG major grocers channel selling a full concept sale / solution for Coffee to Go
  • You will be negotiating at Director and Board level to deliver a signed contract and joint business plan
  • This senior sales professional will also be responsible for identifying potential international growth opportunities and delivering a new market entry strategy
 
The Applicant:
  • This opportunity would seek a proactive national account controller that can implement strategic objectives and manage a small team of national account managers
  • This position is selling a Concept sale to the grocery channel as opposed to a category listed product. Other examples of concession / partnership background that you may have come from could include Key Cutting concessions, Photobooths, Coin Star machines, Lottery, Charity, Foreign Currency concessions, Pharmacy Concepts  
  • Sales professionals that have experience of selling a service contract at Board and Director level would be advantageous
  • We are looking for a Senior National Accounts Business Development manager who is intellectual, commercially aware and not afraid to push the boundaries to challenge the business to grow and develop
