As a brand of choice for Make-Up Artists and Celebrities alike, our client has grown incredibly since entering the market over 10 years ago. As a small, entrepreneurial beauty business they possess a creative and collaborative culture which has been a key driver behind their success. The business has enjoyed growth every year having secured high profile accounts including Space NK, Anthropologie and Birchbox alongside international listings with larger players such as Sephora. Owing to the excellent quality of their products, the brand is a well-respected player in its category. Although operating within the premium sector, the brand maintains its appeal to a wide customer base currently enjoys over 60,000 loyal users worldwide. As a result of continued growth, the business owner is seeking an experienced Health & Beauty Sales Professional to lead the commercial function of the business.

As Head of Sales you will report directly to the business owner, using your in depth knowledge of the health and beauty market you will identify and realise opportunities to further grow the brand. The main responsibility of the role will be the account management of both current and prospective clients across the retail, online and travel channels.  Additionally there will be significant focus upon growing the reach of the brand by opening up new accounts in both the UK and internationally.  You will also be heavily involved in the creation of a strategic brand plan alongside the Creative Director, utilising competitor analysis and experiential insight to add value to the short and long term plans of the business. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the growth of the business by engaging and working collaboratively with a close-knit team.

In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience working within a related field such as Cosmetics or Personal Care, as the successful candidate must have a far-reaching understanding of the current marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ and will already have in place lasting relationships with retailers such as Space NK, John Lewis, Selfridges or Debenhams. Going forward there will be the potential to take on management of a small team so the ability to engage and lead a team would be advantageous. Although not essential, international experience would also be highly valuable. Personally you will be a highly motivated individual able to work upon your own initiative and demonstrate your hunger and passion to succeed within the health and beauty industry.
