Job Details

Can you demonstrate a real passion for Point of Sale items? Does a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment excite you? Due to recent investment and a substantial period of growth, a global ‘Powerbrand’ are looking to hire a POS Manager to into a newly created role. You will be responsible for liaising with Sales, Marketing & POS development teams to manage the EMEA POS portfolio and ensure that that Sales teams are best placed to sell more products. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Manage POS portfolio, inventory and obsolete items  
•    Discuss function of existing portfolio with sales and business development teams. 
•    Survey sales force (present survey info semi-annually) 
•    Develop internal processes for justification of new materials to add to POS portfolio 
•    Manage the internal and external brief issued for new projects 
•    Work with Bottlers, IT, graphics, and consultants to upgrade desired changes 
•    Develop POS look of a leader programs  
•    Communicate activities by New POS development through Newsletter and  website  
•    Lead and organize POS Steering committee meetings  
•    Work in conjunction with US sales operations team on cooler development, procurement and transport/delivery logistics 
•    Communicate specifications warranty of cold equipment portfolio  
•    Work with sales teams on custom needs for specific retailers where relevant e.g. major grocery key account  
•    Present POS status at Sales and Marketing meetings and conference call routines.

The Person:

•    Previous beverage experience is desired 
•    Exposure to merchandising, procurement and transportation logistics.
•    Creative yet strategic.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Articulate & skilled presenter.
•    Global mindset and the ability to differentiate between regional EMEA requirements. 
•    Organised, structured and the ability to manage multiple, large projects simultaneously. 
•    Flexibility to travel overseas.
