Starting Salary £25,000 (inc LW) + other benefits
Location: This post is based in Harrow but it will involve regular travel – including meetings and work at other campuses.

We are looking for a retail manager for our Harrow campus and need a well organised person who is comfortable working under their own initiative. This is a high profile role that directly supports the Commercial and Fundraising Manager.

The trading team at UWSU provides value for money and quality events and services to all our students whilst ensuring income that can be invested in an excellent student experience. The Retail Manager supports that mission by providing a responsive retail operation across all of our sites that understands the University year, the students’ needs and to be vibrant and innovative in its product range.

The job itself will require you to:

1)    Develop and manage our online retail operations  
2)    Ensure all retail outlets across all sites are managed efficiently and effectively
3)    Ensure a vibrant product range and service that reflects the need of the students
4)    Create and implement a retail growth strategy

You will be a leader to the shop staff team and a successful candidate will grow and develop that team to see them becoming successful in their own rights.
