External Job Description  The Sales Execution Manager leads Diageo’s Global Travel’s execution within a set geographical area that will include airport(s) or outlets that will be in the top30 priority battlegrounds – the role will also have local account management responsibilities. Assigned to airport locations and customers, the Sales Execution Manager is responsible for the execution of all key priorities including distribution, brand activation, share of shelf, permanent visibility, Joint Business Plan delivery, local account management and creation/implementation of local opportunities.
 
The Sales Execution Manager represents the entire range of Diageo’s products to the assigned locations and customers, while being fully accountable for the execution and performance within the set geography – this will include Value and Volume Share, Net Sales Value and Gross Margin. The Sales Execution Manager’s complete focus is on the local management of airport locations while coordinating closely with the Account Controllers ensuring excellent dialogue to implement JBP’s and all KPI’s. The Sales Execution Manager reports to the Field Sales Controller of the various regions.
 
Key Accountabilities

•Owns the full Diageo relationship in their specific location and is the local expert – 80% of time in field leading to brilliant execution in geographic area.
•Implements and executes the JBP sales plans to deliver the required NSV, GM & share target by location.
•Deliver the required local sales measures as per the agreed scorecard – specific execution on distribution, space, promo, activation, category & innovation.
•Local coaching and development of the 3rd party brand ambassadors ensuring the optimum deployment, working hours, priorities & targets in conjunction with the central BA functions.
•Complete awareness and reporting of competitor launches and promotional activity to keep all sectors within the business informed.
•Leading relationships across territory with local buying teams/Store
•anagers/Key Staff ensuring that Diageo is the supplier of choice, via excellent customer management and strategic relationships with priority customers; RTM distributors & internal stakeholders.
•Obtain and apply facts and data, driving excellence in planning, decision making and performance measurement and taking corrective action as required.
•Full analysis of all local data sources (depletions/share) to implement key shopper and category programs that drive total category and delight our passengers.
•Develop and implement location specific plans & strategies in conjunction with customer JBP’s and category / brand plans.
•Implement account specific promotions in line with profitability matrix.
•Analyse business opportunities and provide input into the development of speed to market (i.e. new item launches, new pack creation etc.) plans and activity sets.
•Work collaboratively with demand planning to provide annual and on‐going customer forecasting for new product concepts, initiative, and annual brand plans.

Your profile

•You have an academic degree and a strong and broad track record in Commercial and/or trade marketing with business management experience.
•You are used to challenge the business, and can with your curiosity and influence make decisions.
•You are structured, detail oriented and takes pride in delivering on time.
•You are known to be persistent, loyal, dedicated and a good team player.
•You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing. German is a plus.
•You work independently, proactive and take great personal ownership and responsibility.
