We have since added timepieces and personal accessories to our portfolio, and our products are now distributed in over 140 countries.

There is now an outstanding opportunity to join our business as a Key Account Manager, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, managing an existing portfolio of key accounts across the UK. The majority of these key accounts are based in the South East of England.

You will be mainly responsible for managing existing accounts for Cross and you will be comfortable developing new business partnerships across the UK.

You will deal with a diverse range of customers from Department Stores to Stationers, Pen Specialist Retailers and Premium Gift Retailers. You will formulate account plans to meet objectives and agreed sales targets, and forge lasting customer relationships through range presentations, in-store promotions and staff training. We need someone who can really get under the skin of an account and look at creating innovative ways to partner sales activity such as sponsored advertising, web-based activity – whatever it takes to drive the sell through, not just the sell in!!

So, who do we need? Well, not just a sales person but someone who can engage positively with an existing account base and grow the sales activity significantly. Someone who can monitor and interpret in-store sales data and react positively with ideas and innovation to increase store presence and branding. Ideally you will have had experience of managing Amazon.

You will be a well-planned, organised and prepared person, ideally from the FMCG sales environment, possibly even from the jewellery or gift industries, looking to work within a flexible, creative environment with rich company heritage and brand prestige.
