Head of Category Marketing

Role: Head of Category Marketing
Location: Spalding
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Car + Package

Our client is one of the market leaders within the Fresh Produce / Food Manufacturing industry, and due to promotion within the department they are looking to add a Head of Category Marketing to their Data & Insight Marketing Team.

This role reports into the Sales & Marketing Director, and is responsible for 2 marketing managers and 2 marketing executives - in their implementation of the company's marketing directives, and aligning them with the budget.

This role would be right for you, if you have experience within either the Fresh Produce or Food Manufacturing in a Senior Marketing Manager's position. You will have had experience managing a team of marketing professionals in a large business.

Key Objectives:
1. Lead the Category Marketing and Insight Team to proactively deliver market leading intelligence, interpretation and inspiring innovation.
2. Develop and lead the execution of the category marketing strategy in line with the business development strategy of the business, customers, shoppers and branding plans.
3. Deputise both internally and externally for the Head of Marketing & Business Development as required.
4. Proactive role in the selection and management of third party marketing relationships, including service providers (encompassing data providers) and agencies
5. Support and assist the Head of Marketing and Business Development to define and develop the marketing strategy in line with the overall future business direction.
