The Market Trends Analyst will play a key role in understanding who their customers are, and why they spend where they spend ultimately enabling the business to make more insightful decisions.

The Role:

The client are looking for a market trends analyst, who has some commercial experience in a similar role. You will have responsibilities in delivering and managing data analytics, KPI reporting and campaign analysis. You will also be developing and maintaining solid client communication.

The main focus for the role is 'insight evaluation' rather than pure statistical number crunching, so this isn't the job for someone who wants to be very much numbers and software focussed. You will be working directly with clients to understand, analyse and deliver their data requirements. These may include post campaign performance analysis, KPI report design and dashboard development, briefing and working with external partners to map customer journeys, and delivering structured and insightful analysis leading to the improved marketing strategies.

**You must be confident at presenting your recommendations to key stakeholders/external clients.**

Requirements:

Strong analytical skills, with a logical approach to solving problems
Strong presenting skills
Have good data savviness and feel comfortable and confident to talk about and sell data driven concepts and analytical approaches
Strong ability to draw insight from data and present
Knowledge of direct marketing and campaign planning would be an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Excel, powerpoint and SPSS (or other statistical packages)
