An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global branded and private label soft drinks manufacturer. Operating across a number of countries worldwide they are one of the largest suppliers of soft drinks in the World. They own a number of high profile brands that have a strong presence in the UK Grocery, Wholesale and Foodservice market and provide private label solutions for a number of top UK retailers as well. They are a key player in the industry and are looking for a new National Account Manager to work in their Foodservice team.
As National Account Manager you will be tasked with managing an existing customer base made up of a wide range of Foodservice accounts. These will include Bidvest, the NHS, Local Education Authorities and a variety of other Out of Home and On-Trade customers. The turnover will total c. £7m and you will have full P&L responsibility for your own business ledger. Another key element of the role will be to oversee NPD launches and work closely with the field sales teams to make sure you are full maximising the potential within your accounts.
To be considered for this position you will need to have experience selling into the Foodservice or On-Trade channel. People with specific soft drinks experience will be preferred but exceptional candidates from a food and drink background will also be considered. This is a great opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team environment and become an integral part of the sales force. You will need to have a customer focused mind set and be able to develop long-term working relationships. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously are also a must.
