The Company:
Based in the North West, this business has experienced a considerable and hugely exciting journey. A Consumer Durables/ FMCG organisation who have a large amount of business with the Grocery Multiples, both in the UK and internationally and now looking to recruit a number of positions, one in a UK NAM, to further establish their brand and presence. Growth is definitely on the agenda, and coupled with the autonomous and flexible working environment, entrepreneurial spirit, drive and passion, this makes a hugely exciting opportunity!
The Role: As National Account Manager you will be responsible for 3 of the Top 4 Grocery accounts, working to JBPs, taking ownership of P&L, and having responsibility for an element of new business. You will:
- Drive your accounts forward with a clear focus on JBPs, profitability and promotions
- Bring the product to life, working closely with the marketing function with a focus on product placement
- Have heavy involvement in promotional planning
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Director setting strategy for each of your accounts and the wider UK sales function
The Candidate: Successful candidates will have already operated in a Consumer Durables/ FMCG business in a similar role with a proven track record of success. You will have experience of working with at least one of the Top 4, and capable of seeking out new business and maximising existing accounts. You will also:
- Have operated in a Branded environment, understanding brand and process
- Be passionate, ambitious and driven, able to work in an autonomous environment
- Be able to take ownership of P&L
- Be able to build and work to JBPs
- Have proven experience of working collaboratively, able to manage internal stakeholders effectively
- Be tenacious in nature with a strong work ethic
- Hold strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
