EXCITING EXPORT SALES MANAGER OPPORTUNITY WITH A HERITAGE BUSINESS & INDUSTRY LEADER

Are you a sales professional, results orientated and target driven with a proven performance track record in export sales or the aptitude to learn quickly?  Are you seeking a diverse, challenging and rewarding job with a company whose foundations are built on heritage and quality?  YES?  Spear & Jackson UK Ltd. might just have the opportunity you have been looking for!  With responsibility for selling a broad-range of premium quality and industry leading hand and garden tools from the S&J and Eclipse portfolio in to the Far East & Middle East (FE / ME).

Based at our Sheffield Head Office with 25% travel, we are looking for an Export Sales Manager to take responsibility for developing our existing customer base in the FE / ME, whilst identifying and targeting new business opportunities.  

You will have an exciting broad job remit!  Including but not limited to, planning relevant sales activities to drive Company export sales strategy; analysing business potential and promotional opportunities; undertaking regular forecasting, market assessment and reporting on competitor activity; contributing to new product development and attending / hosting trade shows.

You will need to be ambitious, self-motivated and self-confident, ideally from a Tools, DIY background with good FMCG exposure.  Highly credible with first-rate communication and interpersonal skills, you must be customer focussed with the ability to establish, manage and maintain first class working relationships.  Excellent ability to negotiate and influence, prospect, grow and close accounts.
